Cutting machine 4.0

Strong production growth is sometimes a brain racker, as not every part in a production process is scalable. A truck manufacturer was facing the same challenge. In its current production lines, it has two cutting machines, which are not capable of meeting future capacity demand.

After careful consideration, our customer decided to develop a bespoke machine that can meet the challenge, together with Stevens Engineering. The machine will be fully automated, and in addition to cutting, it can put specific markings and coding on the pipes.
